Surface 01 · Planning

The plan is the record, from the first estimate onward.

A job starts as a mapped opportunity with a probability against it and keeps the same record through design, preparation and execution. Nothing is re-keyed when it moves on.

The worklist

One list, filtered by the state a job is in.

Two thirds of the product is this one screen: a section header, the counts that double as filters, a filter bar and the table. A planner learns it once and then recognises it everywhere else.

  • Counts are filters, so a number is always something to click
  • Status is the job's own state, not a label typed into a column
  • Region, customer, rig and product line narrow the same list
  • A missing value reads as a gap, never as a zero

What planning covers

From a probability to a packed basket.

Well map Scope per wellbore with probability weighting, from P10 to awarded, on a rig timeline. Linked wells move as a chain when a rig date slips.
The job status ladder P10, P50 and P90, then awarded, design, prepare, execute and close. The status belongs to the job itself rather than to a column someone maintains.
Assemblies Tool strings assembled from the tenant's own tool catalogue, with reusable templates and a true-to-scale schematic.
Operating limits Maximum outside diameter, minimum inside diameter, drift and torque are derived as the binding constraint across the components of a string.
Load out planning What ships, in which basket, against the customer order and the vessel date, with the rollup the base needs to pack it.
Crews and rig time Who is certified for what, who is already committed elsewhere, and what that does to a date the customer has asked for.

Where it hands over

The handover is a change of view, not a change of system.

The string built in planning is the string the workshop prepares, the shipment the base packs, the assembly the crew runs offshore and the lines finance invoices. Each of those is the same record read by a different role.

Bring a job you are planning now.

We will map it, build the string and price it in Wellplanner while you watch, with your wells, your tools and your rates.
