What the rig app covers

The offshore half of the same job record.

Run records Prepared at pre-job and started at RIH, one run for a string that takes tools from several assemblies, and a mistaken start undone without a trace. Depth, formation and condition against the tools that ran, timed in UTC so two shifts and an office agree on when it happened.
Movement log Tool by tool from base to downhole and back, which is what keeps the run count on a serial honest.
BHA checklists Signed before anything goes in the hole, held against the assembly rather than in a folder on the rig.
Failure recording What failed, which tools it took with it and what it looked like, captured while the crew still remembers it. Every tool named stays flagged until the workshop has looked at it.
Job log The diary of the job, timed by when things happened rather than when they were typed. An edit keeps what it replaced and says who changed it; a removed entry stays on record; the whole log exports as the PDF the customer receives.
Morning report Filed from the entries already logged, so the report is a view of the record rather than a second version of it.
Connection state The crew sees when the link is down. A queue that holds entries offline and sends them in order when it returns is in development, not shipped.
