The run log is the invoice.
Planned, actual, invoiced and paid sit on the same record in that order. A figure states where it came from, and a gap is named rather than shown as a zero.

Start
Nobody arrives knowing their role.
People do not join a company having read its software. A planner who has always worked in spreadsheets cannot say whether they are a project engineer or a coordinator here, and asking on their first morning is asking the wrong question. So Wellplanner does not ask what you are called. It asks what you do, in the words the work is done in, and opens on the screen your job starts from.
Four questions: what you do, where you work, and how you want to start. Then it gets out of the way. No tour and no sample project to delete later.
